An heirloom variety going back to the early 1800s, this beet is a rich, golden-yellow and very sweet. A beautiful beet that won't bleed like red beets. The greens are also very tasty and go well in salads, stir fries or even cooked like spinach. It takes 60-80 days to mature.
Likes full sun in the cooler months, but can also be grow by shading the harsher sun in summer. Can be grown in containers with a minimum depth of 12".
