ORGANIC AND OPEN POLLINATED SEEDS

(Daucus carota)

This medium-sized carrot variety has a cylindrical root with smooth skin and a very small core. The orangish-red flesh is sweet, tender and crisp with a mild flavor. The tips are rounded at the bottom and root size is usually upto 6-7".

Good for use as baby or full carrots and grows well in larger pots and the garden in sunny conditions. Sow the seeds thinly in rows to avoid crowding. Do not transplant.

NOTE: Carrots are a cool season crop and should be sown around October-November in most parts of India.
