OPEN POLLINATED, UNTREATED SEEDS
Thai Basil, which is related to the beloved Indian Tulsi, is a great addition to any kitchen garden, especially if you like oriental food. Its flavour can be described as a sweet, anise-like scent and hints of licorice, along with a slight spiciness lacking in sweet basil
Thai basil has small, narrow, slightly serrated leaves, purple stems, and pink-purple flowers and is easy to grow in both containers as well as in the ground.
The flowers should be pinched to prevent the leaves from becoming bitter. Regular harvesting encourages branching and bushy growth
You can replant basil from cuttings, and also save seeds very easily.
