Salad Bowl is another one of the most consistent and productive lettuce varieties if your growing climate is warm. It is a loose-leaf, long-standing, slow-bolting variety that matures early and can be used for baby, young and mature leaves.

Its tender, crisp, green and deeply lobed, leaves can be picked over period of time and are mild to tasting with both sweet and spicy tones.

Likes sun but needs to be shielded from the harsher afternoon glare. It can produce very well in pots and planters too.
