OPEN POLLINATED, UNTREATED SEEDS

This pole or climbing bean is a fast growing plant and produces profusely. The bean pods themselves are 12"-15" long and deep red, almost burgundy in colour. Usually takes 80-90 days to harvest.

Suitable for growing in the monsoons, winter and summers.

Also suited for growing in containers, though need support or a trellis to grow on.

The beans are sweet and can  be chomped on raw right off the vine, chopped into salads, stir fried or made into a good old sabzi (however, excessive cooking makes them lose their red colour).
