UNTREATED AND OPEN POLLINATED SEEDS

Coriander, also known as Dhaniya, Kothmir or Cilantro, is an essential Indian culinary herb perfect for those who want to grow coriander at home. A must-have in every kitchen garden, it adds vibrant flavour to curries, salads, chutneys, and almost anything!

This versatile herb thrives in full sun or light shade, though prefers a cooler climate and grows well in well-drained, moist soil, making it ideal for easy coriander cultivation in both garden beds and containers. All parts of the plant are edible, but the fresh leaves, dried seeds, and roots are most traditionally used in cooking.

The coriander 'seed' is actually a dried fruit containing two seeds, which can be split by gently rubbing between palms to speed up germination. To ensure a steady harvest, sow seeds every 2 to 3 weeks during the main growing season (winter in tropical climates).

This variety is perfect for home gardeners seeking a simple yet productive herb that brings authentic Indian Flavors straight to the plate.
