(Cucumis melo)

The Chibud melon is oblong shaped and of a medium to large size. It is golden coloured with creamish stripes along the length of the fruit. Some fruits can also have patches of green. It has white flesh with a slight orange tint and a bunch of seeds in the centre. The flesh of this melon is sweet and has a tender and juicy texture.

Seeds are usually direct sown into the soil (no nursery) and requires moderate watering. Ready to harvest after 80-10 days. Ideally grown in warmer weather and sunny, well drained conditions.
